We used this compnay Total Media in Cleatwater to press our discs of the new album. Well they came out all distorted and we were unable to use or sell them. They were total dickheads about the whole situation. If you are in a band or whatever and you ever need to get cd's printed, stay away from this company. So far they have not refunded our money. We love you so fucking much, The Stick Martin Show How Beautiful You Are To Me Hey peeps, Just an update on the record, which I know is taking forever, but you'll fuckin' love it. I swear to Christ. Album of the year, man, you won't believe it. Anyway, we're gonna have a sneak peak at some of the album coming up soon. I got to talk with Crafty Records and see how they want to do it. Anyway, we love you guys. PS. My new year's resolution is to update my site more. Jason Parker Band (12-12-07) So check this out, I was playing a shitty solo show at this place, and Jason Parker from the infamous Jason Parker band shows up and on my break he asks me to try and write some words for some songs he has written. I don't normally write with other people, but I figured I give it a try. Well, I spent a few days working on it and finally came up with some usable words. The song is called This is Where I Get Off, and it is basically about sexual relations. (I had someone specifically in mind when I wrote it, but I won't go into any more detail than that). Anyway, if it is cool with Jason, once the demo is done. I'll post it here or on myspace or something. Hopefully you'll even be able to download it. WE WIN BEST HIP HOP GROUP IN TAMPA BAY! Hey mother uckers, we won Creative Loafing's Reader's Choice Best of the Bay award for Best Hip Hop Group. We are officially the funkiest white boys in the 727/ 813 area. Don't forget to congratulate us when you see us. Thank you sincerly for all of you that voted. We love you guys and thanks to you, we are finally starting to get some recognition in the local press. Stick Martin Show fans are the best in the whole wide world. New photos for your viewing pleasrue (9-11-07) Hey everybody I just updated the photo section with tons of pics by our good buddy "Chevelle" Rob. Check out the band pix by clicking here, and then check out the fan pix by clicking here. New Tune for you all Hey everyone, We've got a new song you all can download. We did it for a sound track to a short film our friends at Double Bird Films. The film is called Fat Girls Gone Wild and so is the song we did for it. Click below to listen to it, or right click and select save link as or whatever to download the mp3. FAT GIRLS GONE WILD We hope you enjoy the new song. Lots of love, The Stick Martin Show Sorry 'bout the Slow Down (5-18-2007)( Hey brothas and sistas, Sorry there haven't been many updates to the site in a while. The Stick Martin Show Super Delux Computer Main Frame 3000 was on the fritz, so a lot of work fell behind while it was getting fixed. However, we plan on doing some major site upgrades in the next few weeks. Basically myspace has become a giant pain in my ass and I like the more of the attention back onto our original site. I may try to clean some things up a bit. We'll probably be adding some kind of Stick Martin Show radio station to the site. You can just hit us up on your internet radio dial and listen all day. We're also gonna start to use our blog more. The word on the street is the kids love blog. Lastly, I hear there is a new drug all the kiddies are doing called Cheeze. Which I think is easily the funniest drug name since Special K. TSMS New TSMS Puzzizzuzzle (2-18-2007) I know its kind of lame but here's the new TSMS crossword puzzle. Check it out if you're bored sometime. TSMS Crossword Puzzizzuzzle hint: there are no spaces inbetween words New Year's Eve @ The Dunedin Brewery Alrighty everyone. In case you haven't heard, we are definitely playing the Dunedin Brewery for New Year's Eve. I'm not 100% sure on all the details yet. The show will more than likely start around 9PM. Anyway, keep checking back for more details. A new look/ Looking for a key board. (9/18/2006) 6 minutes, 6 minutes, 6 minutes Dougy Fresh your on, ah ah on, ah ah on. Anybody else remember that shit? Alright you've probably noticed by now, that our website got a major face lift. (The titty job gets done next month). I think it will be easier to navigate as all of the main pages are now listed above. (Less clicking and hunting). By the way we've gotten some new local press lately. If you haven't seen the articles check 'em out in our Press Section. (Thanks again Timez Out and Dunedin Free Press). What else. Oh yeah, we discontinued our newsletter because they were too much money to print and they were also kind of gay. (No offense to the homosexual community; Keep in mind, I could of said faggoty). Also, I'd like to tell you about the first Crafty Records literary project. It's called the Thousand Letters Project. Basically, you write a letter to Crafty Records. They then copy each letter and insert it into CD's that will be sold on tour. The people who recieve these letters are encouraged to write back to their original senders. The letters will be collected and then printed into a book which will be available somewhere on the information super highway. These are all actual letters people, no emails, no faxes. The art of letter writting is dying and this is Crafty Records attempt at giving the old girl a few more years. To learn all about it and where to send your letters click here. Lastly, Stick is looking for keyboards. Not for typing; the music kind. If you have an old key board you would like to give or sell really cheap to Stick, bring it out to a show and we'll haggle. The most important feature I'm looking for is midi output. If you don't know what that means, just look on the back and if you see a port that says midi, your golden. Anyway, I guess that's about it. Ps. I was higher than the price of gas when I wrote this news update. |
