Hey everyone, sorry to be negative, but I need to mention this.  We used this compnay Total Media in Cleatwater to press our discs of the new album.  Well they came out all distorted and we were unable to use or sell them.  They were total dickheads about the whole situation.  If you are in a band or whatever and you ever need to get cd's printed, stay away from this company.  So far they have not refunded our money. 

It is finally out, baby.  Thrilla the all new Stick Martin Show album.  Oh yes, it is as great as you heard.  You can order it here on our website or at our shows.  It will be available locally very soon.  Probably Quick Nick's, and later some other places we'll let you know.

Sticky icky icky

This Monday night, we'll be having a listening party for the new album. The basic idea is this:

We had a ton of guests on the album and we've given them each a song to put up on thier myspace player. On Monday night you'll be able to hear a bunch of new songs from the new album on each of their varying myspace pages.

I'll post up the exact links on Monday. These songs will only be up for one night, and won't be available for download, so don't miss out.

Okay so here it is.  The track list for the next record, entitled Thrilla'  Some of these tracks have been available in demo and live formats before, but hese are full on high quality studio type recordings.  Recording this album has been a journey.  During it's process, our studio had been set up and moved three different times.  We've still got a bit of work to do, but most of the songs are done.  Anyway, here's the track list, it is almost set in stone.

Just an update on the record, which I know is taking forever, but you'll fuckin' love it.  I swear to Christ.  Album of the year, man, you won't believe it.  Anyway, we're gonna have a sneak peak at some of the album coming up soon.  I got to talk with Crafty Records and see how they want to do it.  Anyway, we love you guys.  PS.  My new year's resolution is to update my site more.

I was playing a shitty solo show at this place, and Jason Parker from the infamous Jason Parker band shows up and on my break he asks me to try and write some words for some songs he has written.  I don't normally write with other people, but I figured I give it a try.  Well, I spent a few days working on it and finally came up with some usable words.  The song is called This is Where I Get Off, and it is basically about sexual relations.  (I had someone specifically in mind when I wrote it, but I won't go into any more detail than that).  Anyway, if it is cool with Jason, once the demo is done.  I'll post it here or on myspace or something.  Hopefully you'll even be able to download it.

Hey mother uckers, we won Creative Loafing's Reader's Choice Best of the Bay award for Best Hip Hop Group.  We are officially the funkiest white boys in the 727/ 813 area.  Don't forget to congratulate us when you see us.  Thank you sincerly for all of you that voted.  We love you guys and thanks to you, we are finally starting to get some recognition in the local press.  Stick Martin Show fans are the best in the whole wide world.

Hey brothas and sistas,
Sorry there haven't been many updates to the site in a while.  The Stick Martin Show Super Delux Computer Main Frame 3000 was on the fritz, so a lot of work fell behind while it was getting fixed.  However, we plan on doing some major site upgrades in the next few weeks.  Basically myspace has become a giant pain in my ass and I like the more of the attention back onto our original site.  I may try to clean some things up a bit.  We'll probably be adding some kind of Stick Martin Show radio station to the site.  You can just hit us up on your internet radio dial and listen all day.   We're also gonna start to use our blog more.  The word on the street is the kids love blog.
Lastly, I hear there is a new drug all the kiddies are doing called Cheeze.  Which I think is easily the funniest drug name since Special K.
